· une magnifique maison en pierres de l’île fabriquée des propos mains du propriétaire, Michalis, elle était spacieuse et avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Elle est située juste au dessus de Vasilikos, au milieu d’oliviers, de citronniers, il y a d’adorables chats, une chèvres, le sont des grillons, les coqs au loin …. le bonheur pour se reposer Michalis, le propriétaire et sa famille étaient d’une extrême gentillesse, toujours à prendre soin de nous, il a organisé notre voiture de location qui nous attendait à l’aéroport - il a fait les aller-retour vers celui-ci avec nous. il est toujours attentif à notre bien-être et vraiment sympathique, ses « adulescents » sont adorables et serviables. ils savent rester extrêmement discrets. Michalis peut vous renseigner sur tout, trouver des restaurants, des endroits mythiques et d’autres confidentiels, il connaît tout et tout le monde ? … nous avons déjà réservé la maison pour l’année prochaine !!!! je recommande vivement !!!!

Beautiful round house built by the owner. Lovely peaceful area with a garden looking out across to the sea. Plenty of space with 3 sleeping areas and two bathrooms which was very handy, having a teenage daughter!

Ok, where to start :) Our host Michalis helped us with rent a car even before we came to Zante (gave us contact of very good local rent a car). He welcomed us on arrival and provided us with every info. we needed. Further on Michalis made a reservation for boat trip and whats for the best he recomended really very good local tavernas, where we enjoyed our meals many times only with local folks, so we could taste a little of real Greek "taste" not just to crowded and overrated tourist places. Lets talk about the house-just look at the pictures-it's everything that you can see there and many, many things more. The stone house that he build with his own hands is made with so much love and touch for details so that I will stop writing about it, couse you have to go there and feel that for yourself :) Our stay in Zante was the best so far in Greece (we travel every year on different island) because of Michalis and his special house. Michalis, Yamas!!!

We enjoyed the tranquillity of the house in the rural landscape with view to the sea. Also its vicinity to our favorite beaches made our stay very uncomplicated. The house is also comfortable, with a large kitchen and beautiful rooms. outside there is a big wood table where one can organize his own breakfast or dinner in a romantic garden with sea view! the owner Michalis is very helpful and kind.

We stayed in Gerakopetra for nine days in Juli 2022. This gorgeous stone house is in the middle of a park-like garden in a picturesque landscape in Vasilikos. From the balcony, we could see the Mediterranean sea, hear the birds and watch the sunset with a glass of wine. The experience was to be home on this fantastic island instead of just being “tourists”. The large house provided our family (2 adults and a teenager) with plenty of rooms for privacy and common family space. It is well equipped with all the needed devices and utensils for an extended stay (washing machine, dishwasher, iron, kitchen, air conditioning, and more). The house is only 5 minutes walk from the village main street with shops and restaurants and is 5 minutes drive from all the most beautiful beaches of Zakynthos. Michalis and his family were fantastic hosts; Michalis picked us up from the airport, showed us the house, and helped us book restaurants, trips, bikes, clubs- literally everything. We felt so much at home there- it was hard to leave, but we will surely come back!
