Lefkada

About

Lefkada is an island paradise encircled by a total of 24 islets, one of which is the Scorpios, famously owned by Aristotle Onassis. This island is home to a wealth of natural and cultural attractions, including beautiful sights, charming villages, lush vegetation, and clear turquoise waters. Visitors can explore secluded beaches of stunning beauty, discover the island’s rich social heritage and enjoy the warm hospitality of the local people.

The island’s capital and port, Lefkada Town, is a charming and picturesque place. Visitors can stroll through the town’s charming streets and small squares, admire traditional houses and enjoy the clean and pedestrian-friendly streets that give the town its unique character. The town is surrounded by a canal and a tidal pond, while to the north, the island of Gyra offers a thin stretch of sandy beach that forms a circle, with windmills and low vegetation. Lefkada is easily accessible from Central Greece via a 50m long floating suspension bridge.
