What is the use of “additional fields” in the booking form?

Additional fields in accommodation booking form work simply as follows:

a. In “Persons> x” field, you just select from the drop down list the number of persons you’re going to stay in the rental, that exceeds the number x ( number x varies for each rental ).

For instance, if you see “Persons > 3” and you are a total number of 5 people, then you select 2 (5-3).

This field is used to adapt the booking price according to the exact number of persons that will stay in the accommodation.

In every accommodation, the booking price per night is related to a max number of guests. For every extra person above this max number ( which is defined by number x )  a small extra charge per night per person, is added.

Please keep in mind that this action is mandatory from your part, in case the total number of people to stay exceeds the minimum one, otherwise your booking may be rejected.

Adults and children over 3 years old, are counted as “Persons”.

b. In “Babies (< 3 yrs )” field, you simply select the appropriate number in the list, in case babies under three years old will stay in the accommodation with you.

That is used, for letting the host know and prepare any amenities needed for the babies, such as a crib ( if available ).

In case you don’t have babies with you, just ignore this field.

Babies are free of charge and their number doesn’t count in the stay’s total cost.
